A Journey Rooted in Curiosity

It began with a casual exchange, while talking to a colleague.
They mentioned that Aruba had a history of slavery.
That single comment stayed with me.

My curiosity took over, leading me through archives, stories, and forgotten places. The research kept growing, until it became a documentary.

And that documentary grew even bigger, evolving into what you see here today. A website where all that research comes together through stories and an interactive map to guide you, teach you, and connect you to Aruba's past.
