Sabana Verde, also known as Idaho, formed part of a wider agricultural landscape that included Baca Morto, Wayaca and Camacuri. Historical records identify nearby Baca Morto as a government aloe field, linking the area to the agricultural experiments introduced by the colonial administration during the nineteenth century. While the names Sabana Verde and Baca Morto have largely disappeared from modern maps, they remain part of the landscape where Aruba's aloe industry developed.
