Sivi Divi/Werk en Rust

Before it became known as Sivi Divi, the plantation carried the name Werk en Rust (Work and Rest). Historical records show that the plantation was owned by Frederik Lodewijk Scholten in 1850 and covered 3.48 bunder (6,960 m²). In 1873, ten years after the abolition of slavery in Aruba, the plantation's name was changed to Sivi Divi.
